About The Artist
John Greene has spent a lifetime surrounded by the beauty of Craigville. As a young boy, he spent his summers exploring the village, and today he continues that tradition with his family at their summer home. Many days, you can find him beneath the shade of his large oak tree, easel and pastels set up in the front yard, capturing the charm of the Cape.
John paints prolifically, inspired by the peaceful landscapes and iconic scenes that define the Village of Craigville and Cape Cod. From the CBA Beach Club and The Manor House to Red Lily Pond, Lake Elizabeth, the Centerville Inlet River, and The Bluff, his work reflects a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and character of the area.
His vibrant, sun‑filled style brings each scene to life, blending color, light, and emotion in a way that resonates with viewers of all ages. The Adventures of Sealey is a natural extension of his artistic world — a heartfelt story brought to life through the same expressive pastel illustrations that define his work.
